About our sunroom contractor company in Palmdale

Raised screened sunroom addition with white framing and a sloped roof, partly shaded by leafy fruit trees.

How I got into building sunrooms

I started out as a helper on a small crew, hauling panels and cleaning up, and I kept asking why each piece went where it did until the answers stuck. In 2017 I started Clearview in Palmdale to build sunrooms, patio rooms and patio covers the way I'd learned was right. You can see everything we build on our home page.

Out here in the high desert, a room has to get through cold winter nights, a few inches of snow some years and ground that sits close to the San Andreas Fault. That's why I care most about what's under the room and how it meets the house, because that's where trouble starts when nobody looks closely. We've become the crew people call for jobs with a catch, like an old deck, a cracked slab or a room that needs changing. Most calls come from folks who want more use out of the back of the house and aren't sure where to start, and I'd rather walk you through every choice before you sign so the finished room holds no surprises.

What you can count on when we build

  • The same person from estimate to build

I'm the one who comes out to measure and talk the job through with you, and I'm on site checking the work while our crew builds it. That way nothing gets lost between what we planned together and what goes up.

  • We look at what's under the room first

Old decks, tired slabs and rooms that need reworking don't scare us off, but we figure out what each one needs before we put a number on it. Your quote reflects the real job, so you're not hit with a change halfway through.

  • A written estimate you can compare

Your estimate spells out what's included and what isn't, so you can line it up fairly against other bids. If a line doesn't make sense, ask me and I'll walk you through it.

Licensing and permits

Serving Palmdale Since 2017

  • California contractor license

The state contractors board licenses anyone who builds or alters structures in California, and a license is required whenever a project needs a building permit, uses other workers or runs $1,000 or more in labor and materials, which covers just about any sunroom. Fully licensed and insured.

  • Permits through the right office

Palmdale's Building and Safety Division issues permits for work like room additions and patio covers, but some homes with a Palmdale mailing address sit in unincorporated LA County instead. When your job needs a permit, we check whether your address falls under the City of Palmdale, LA County or Kern County, then file with that office and set up the inspections.
